Within the world of book collecting is a wonderful informal group of people often self-titled as the Series Book Community.  Many of us have not had the pleasure of meeting face-to-face, resorting rather to correspondence whether traditional or electronic.  Although when we do chance to meet, it is often like reuniting with an old chum.  A friendship catalyzed by a common bond we share in our love for series books.

Over the years, it has been my sincere pleasure to meet many of these people and share interesting stories and intriguing anecdotes about our mutual hobby.  I would be remiss without acknowledging my genuine appreciation to a few of these wonderful folks – those who have contributed so generously to this hobby, as well as those who have enriched my personal knowledge and enjoyment.
