All these years so many thought that Mr. Franklin W. Dixon was their favorite author of mystery and adventure.  Well, guess again, Mr. Dixon was actually a pseudonym used by ghost writers of both the Hardy Boys and Ted Scott Flying Series.

Hardy Boys

Many of us grew up sharing in the famous mysteries of our two chums, Frank & Joe Hardy, sons of the famous detective, Fenton Hardy.  The two boys were residents of the quiet town of Bayport and were often joined by their faithful chums Chet Morton, Tony Pritto, Biff Hooper and Phil Cohen.  Lads who were never for lack of a mystery to solve.

Ted Scott

Ted Scott was a famous flier, an aviator of first regard whose exploits surpassed those of even Mr. Charles Lindbergh (well at least in these stories).
