Collecting ... it's something we all do ... in a way it's part of human nature.   Each one of us is prompted by a fond remembrance or a nostalgic tug drawing us back to a simpler time and a simpler place of years ago.  Whether it stems from the desire to save our little treasures, or remember our dear ones, or recall the past.  It is dear to so many of us whether it be the books of our childhood, the old-time silver & gold of the early years or the vintage cars, toys and furniture of those long ago days.

Book Collecting is a wonderful and rewarding hobby that is enriching not only for its literary merits, but likewise for the pure enjoyment and relaxation of reading the wonderful characters, plots and settings that lurk within the pages of mystery and adventure tales.

Who can forget those wonderful moments when we would come home from the nickel & dime or library with a new adventure in our hands, or a gift arriving from a generous friend or relative.  How about walking into town to pick up a new adventure and then stopping for just a while on that park bench ... those new adventures would always bring a big smile across our face.  There was no better way to top it off than to run down and place a dime in the Vendo 44 machine on one of those long, hot lazy summer days.  It is fond memories such as these that make our journey in life worthwhile.
